For this project, the brief was to design a set of pictograms to illustrate a recipe for people to use and follow, using any format. I decided to create a set of pictograms for a face mask recipe. Using only pictograms and no type, excluding the title and key. Because a face-mask is not a very structured recipe I decided to go for a more illustrative style, making my pictograms quite fun to suit the style of the recipe more. Then for my format, I decided to create a small concertina booklet as a handy little book to pick up and keep in a drawer for whenever you feel like pampering yourself and need a quick face mask recipe. This concertina is small enough to be attached to the packaging. My idea was to attach the concertina to the ingredients that you would need to create the face mask such as a honey jar, as a fun alternative way to use the honey, or as an alternative gift idea.
